About Us

Scatterflower Quilts + Fabric creates modern and traditional quilts and quilted goods for craft enthusiasts looking for a meaningful handmade gift.  We also provide beginning and intermediate quilters with fabric, patterns, and sewing notions to support their own creative journeys. 

Rachel Keil is the creative force behind Scatterflower and has been sewing and crafting for over 35 years.

Craft and Care

Craft

Fabrics are not pre-washed before piecing and quilting. I love the rumpled cozy look after the first wash of a quilt.  Photographed items have not been washed, unless noted.

Care

For quilted pieces and cut fabrics, I recommend to machine wash gentle on cool or warm and tumble dry low.  Wash with like colors, or use a color catcher for the first wash.
